Todays Thought (proving that I had at least one today.)

You may have tangible wealth untold;
Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
Richer than I you can never be - -
I had a mother who read to me.

Lucky me to have more than just my mamma reading to me.

May I also say that it also makes a large (read: HUGE!) difference when the reader is gifted in the knowledge of inflection and delivery? "Words, words, words" are but the beginning of the journey--and what a wonderous thing it can be with when you sit upon a gifted reader's knee! Thank you for being that gifted reader to me, Dad. I cannot imagine living life without books, learning and imagination. Love you.

Thanks, Andi, Janiek and Aubey! It was an honor to have a couple of you in my classes. It has been a privilege to see one of you start life as an angry, squalling little thing with thinck, black curls and grow to become the loveliest bride I've ever seen. I hope to get to know Andi better. I know I like her taste in young men. Jim/Dad
